Cake Smash Photographer Boston

My first exposure to cake smash photography was when a friend of mine asked me if I could shoot her one year old’s photoshoot. I’ve done plenty of photoshoots before and this sounded like more fun than anything else.

The shoot went incredibly well and we were both blown away by how outstanding the photographs turned out. For one, of course, it’s the photographer. But, even more importantly, it was a collaboration of hearts.

My friend is a talented baker so she supplied this magnificent Marie Antoinette era cake that looks like it could have been a few hundred years old.

This shoot represents my style of photography. I believe in being moderately prepared, but, you have to allow the magic to unfold on its own. We came prepared with a beautiful cake, a good location, and of course nice lighting, but everything in between is what made these photographs so great.
